Course Work in Progress

Completed Dryject greens aerification this week.   Expect seasonal putting conditions to improve after a week of rolling and mowing. Recent below freezing temperatures along with occasional snow accumulation have all but reversed the positive effects of the early warm up in later March.  The greens will require normal temperatures and minimal precipitation before putting quality improves.

Repairs are underway to patch deteriorating cart paths. After removing the damaged asphalt, areas will receive hot patch when the asphalt plants open later this week.

Beginning on hole #14, Golf Preservations based in Middlesboro KY, will install green drainage this week and next.  In addition to #14, other greens included in this season's drainage project will include #9, 15, 18, and 3. Only one green will close daily to allow work to contunue without interrpuption.
