New Brick Walkways



Utilizing paver bricks from the old clubhouse's sidewalks and rear patio area, the grounds staff is removing the railroad tie wooded walkways and installing brick pavers throughout various locations on the golf course.  During the demolition of the old clubhouse in October of 2012, the grounds staff removed and stacked nearly 16 pallets of pavers for future uses.

Walkway construction requires hand digging to a depth of seven or eight inches followed by several inches of crushed concrete base, a course of leveling sand and finally the brick paver.  The process is time consuming and mostly a one or two man job.  However, the finished product is certainly more attractive, safer, and more functional than wood walkways.



Presently, walkways at #3 and #9 tees are completed with other locations such as #14 tee and the golf shop parking lot scheduled for completion in early
